Pistol Shrimp Announce 2026 Promotional Schedule

(Peru, IL) - The highly anticipated release of the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp 2026 Promotional Schedule is here! Today, the Pistol Shrimp announced a brand new slate of promotional nights coming to Peru and Schweickert Stadium this summer!

The Pistol Shrimp are scheduled for 28 regular season home games across 27 dates at Schweickert Stadium in 2026. New this season, Pistol Shrimp home games at Schweickert Stadium will begin at 6:35 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 4:35 PM on Sundays and doubleheaders.

Opening Week gets the fun started with Opening Night presented by the Law Offices of Peter F. Ferracuti on Wednesday, May 27th, followed by Thirsty Thursday on Thursday, May 28th, and Country Music & BBQ presented by 96.5 The WOLF on Friday, May 29th.

June is highlighted by Little League Night presented by the Locker Room on Tuesday, June 2nd, First Responder Appreciation presented by Schweickert Ganassin Krzak Rundio on Tuesday, June 16th, and Salute to the Military presented by James Hardie on Tuesday, June 30th.

July is headlined by Margaritville presented by 99.3 WAJK & 103.9 WLPO on Saturday, July 11th, Polish Night with Eddie Korsa and the Boys from Illinois on Saturday, July 18th, and Paint the Park Pink presented by Illinois CancerCare on Friday, July 24th.

The Pistol Shrimp are excited to introduce Visitors' Weekend featuring Radioactive Halloween, Bring A Friend Night, and Kids' Day on Friday, June 26th, Saturday, June 27th, and Sunday, June 28th, and Winning Wednesdays every Wednesday following Opening Night with food and drink discounts, player autographs, and meet and greets.

Additionally, jerseys will have more flavor this season as the Pistol Shrimp introduce Saturday Night Stripes presented by Princeton Auto Group with a black alternate jersey every home Saturday. First Responder Appreciation, Salute to the Military, and Paint The Park Pink will feature specialty jerseys, and Radioactive Halloween will debut the Radioactive Shrimp as the team's first alternate identity.
